ACTIVE INGREDIENT INFORMATION

Aloe Vera Extract has soothing, moisturizing, purifying and regenerative properties.  It is also known for its ability to hydrate skin, remove dead skin cells and stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis to help reverse skin aging.

Balm Mint Flower Water is derived from Lemon Balm (Melissa oficinalis), an organically cultivated member of the mint family.  Used as far back as the Middle Ages and originally from Europe, Balm Mint has soothing, purifying, regenerative and toning properties.  It also has antiseptic values.

Bamboo Powder gently exfoliates dead cells and impurities without  irritating the skin surface.  By improving skin regeneration, it leaves skin smoother and softer.  The fine grains in this product are of natural origin.

Beech Shoot Extract preserves skin elasticity, maintains hydration levels, improves tissue oxygenation and helps to prevent wrinkle formulation.  This extract comes from the young tissues of beech trees.

Cornflower Floral Water has a refreshing and clarifying effect on the complexion.  Effective for soothing tired eyes and a puffy face.  It is also well-known as a cleansing lotion, perfect for toning skin.

Flax Flower Extract comes from organically cultivated flax in the Swiss Alps.  In vitro tests have shown this extract can help reduce inflammation of keratinocytes, cells that protect the outer layer of skin.  Flax is also said to have antioxidant, calming and soothing properties. 

Golden Seaweed Extract (Laminaria Ochroleuca) comes from marine algae.  The lipids in this extract have been shown to boost protection from sun damage and enhance moisture levels in the skin.  This, in turn, leads to smoother, more supple skin.

Jojoba Oil is known to be similar to sebum, the body’s own natural resource for protection.  It helps regulate the skin so it doesn’t become too oily or too dry.  Excellent as a moisturizer, Jojoba Oil has been shown to help the anti-aging process. 

Marine Pine Bark Extract is a natural plant extract that helps neutralize free radicals.   It has also shown to be useful in maintaining skin moisture and elasticity.

Orange Blossom Floral Water is created using steam distillation of orange blossoms.  This organic floral water produces a sweet fragrance and is traditionally used to be a natural aromatic stress reliever.  It is also known to have skin toning abilities. 

Peppermint Essential Oil refreshes, clarifies and cleanses the skin.  It also helps to nourish dull skin and balance skin that is oily.  Considered one of the oldest herbs in use, it contains Menthol, an ingredient known to be good for the skin. 

Rice Powder acts as an exfoliant, removing impurities and dead cells from the skin surface.  From organically cultivated rice, it also stimulates skin oxygenation and cell turnover.

Sesame Seed Oil helps condition the skin with restructuring properties.  Organically cultivated, the oil has a unique ability to soften skin and hold moisture, helping skin maintain hydration.  The fatty acids from the Sesamum indicum plant, particularly linoleic and oleic acids, work to protect skin. 

Shea Butter is known for being one of the best moisturizers in the world, as well as having Vitamin A and E properties.  The moisturizers in Shea Butter are the same type of moisturizers found in the sebaceous glands of the skin.  It helps delay skin aging and has regenerative virtues as well.

Sodium PCA attracts and holds moisture in the skin.  Also known as a humectant, Sodium PCA contains antioxidants that can protect the skin from free radicals.

Spanish Sage Essential Oil is recommended for its regenerative, softening and toning properties.  Sage is also known for its natural antibacterial and deodorant properties, as well as being an antioxidant and astringent.

Squalane is derived from olive oil as a natural emollient is one of the main components of human skin.  It helps prevent moisture loss and restores skin suppleness and flexibility.

OTHER INGREDIENTS

Acacia Senegal Gum & Hydrolyzed Rhizobian Gum forms a protective matrix over the skin that retracts rapidly upon drying and gives an immediate line diminishing effect.  This tensing effect leads to a visible decrease in wrinkle depth, which gives skin a younger and smoother appearance.

Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide has water-binding abilities and is also used as a soothing or softening agent on the skin.  This prebiotic ingredient is also used to help balance the skin and enhance its ability to defend itself from bad bacteria while at the same time promoting good or healthy bacteria. 

Coco-Betaine is a gentle cleansing agent derived from coconut oil that dissolves make up and other impurities without harming skin.  Not only a mild surfactant, it also has emulsifying and moisturizing properties.

D-alpha-tocopherol or Natural Vitamin E comes from natural sources like wheat germ oil or sunflower oil.  It has antioxidant properties and is known to help slow down the aging process.  D-alpha tocopherol gives the skin a nice glow and also plays an important role in the prevention of UVA and UVB damage. 

Decyl glucoside dissolves make-up and impurities without harming the skin.  This gentle cleansing agent made from corn, potato or wheat is a mild, non-ionic surfactant with excellent foaming capacity and skin balancing capabilities.

Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate and Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate is an extremely gentle cleansing agent from amino acids and coconut.  It is an excellent cleanser, even in hard water, and leaves the skin feeling soft and moisturized. 

Xylitol is a humectant used to help the skin retain its natural moisture and is found naturally in berries, oats and mushrooms.  It is also known to increase levels of hyaluronic acid which is considered a natural lubricant and assists in collagen production.  Xylitol also helps improve the skin’s barrier function and stimulates the synthesis of ceramides, a natural hydrating compound.
