Can EGA True be used on sensitive skin?

Yes, in most cases.  EGA True is suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin.  However, if you are using prescribed topical solutions such a Retin A, it would be wise to consult with your medical professional prior to using EGA True.

Does my skin need time to adjust when using EGA True?

It is recommended to allow two to four weeks for your skin to find its own balance when using EGA True for the first time.  This is important to remember particularly if synthetic and chemically-based products have been used for a long time.

Why is it important to use a cleanser?

Dead skin cells remain on the skin causing it to become dull, flaky and prone to clogged pores if not cleansed properly.  Cleansing prepares the skin for treatment products.

Why do I need a toner?

A toner removes impurities and residual soap from the skin.  It also purifies the complexion, balances sebaceous activity, enhances elasticity and provides an additional layer of nutrients and moisture.

When should I use a moisturizer?

What are the benefits of exfoliating?

Exfoliation helps remove the dead skin cells that collect on the skin surface.  Our skin experiences its own shedding process called “desquamation,” though this is not always efficient and the process slows as we age.  It is recommended to exfoliate at least twice a week.

How often should I use Face Life (the face mask)?

It is recommended that Face Lift be used 1 or 2 times per week.  Its unique ingredients and organically cultivated cotton contribute to reducing the fine lines and wrinkles and leaving the skin feeling uplifted and tight.

Why is Face Lift not considered Ecocert certified?

Face Lift is the only EGA True product not Ecocert certified, because the cotton mask and serum used are not manufactured in an Ecocert certified laboratory. Also less than the minimum 10% of the total ingredients come from organic farming.  For these reasons, Face Lift does not meet the Ecocert standards, even though it is made from 100% natural ingredients.
